VR 180 “Reality”
About this project:
This VR project is an experimental animated short film that explores the theme of climate change through an artistic and symbolic lens. Stepping away from traditional storytelling, the piece uses visual poetry and expressive animation to reflect on the fragile balance of our environment and the impacts of global warming. The goal was to create an abstract, contemplative experience that encourages viewers to connect emotionally with the planet's changing climate.
The concept naturally evolved from my university final project, which originally focused on the relationship between the Moon and the Sea. During that initial creative process, I also developed a character for the Sun. For this piece, I decided to bring these characters back and reinterpret them as cosmic guides for the narrative. Through their symbolic presence and interactions, the Sun, the Moon, and the Sea lead the audience through a story about natural harmony, transformation, and our shared environmental reality.
